The feature story is very well written and helps employers understand that military trains more than how to use weapons: It trains leadership. We continue to recruit military personnel for our clients. However, we spend a lot of time trying to get employers to understand the value that proven leaders bring to an organization. Recently we launched a program, focused on finding jobs for disabled veterans. It has been even more complex than getting employers to hire veterans. There is a fear that stops employers from hiring. We try to get them to understand that they take small steps: Hire One Hero at a time.
As the economy recovers, we will have the opportunity to place many military personnel in positions across corporate America. This article demonstrates that leading employers are hiring veterans. Thank you for writing the article as the troops really need our support when they return.
